QHow much sample is needed for a foreign material test?
AThe required volume depends on the type of foreign material and the test items. Please let us know the amount available for collection first, and we will determine the appropriate test items from there.
QHow should I send samples for a foreign material test?
AIf the foreign material is in water, please collect it in a PET bottle or similar container. For other types, please place them in a resealable plastic bag and send them to us. (Please do not wrap foreign material in tissue paper or similar materials, as fibers may adhere to it and compromise the accuracy of the test.)
QCan you perform a compositional analysis of foreign material?
AOur laboratory does not perform detailed compositional analysis internally; however, we can outsource it to a partner laboratory. We will recommend appropriate test items for your needs.
QWhen is a building water tank system inspection required?
AA building water tank system is defined as a water supply system that uses only water supplied by a municipal water utility (water bureau) and has a receiving tank with an effective capacity exceeding 10 cubic meters, regulated under the Water Supply Act. Operators of a building water tank system are required by law to undergo an inspection at least once a year.
QI would like to have wastewater tested. What kind of test should I request?
AWe recommend consulting with your local government office to determine which analysis items are required. We can also analyze items not listed on our website, so please contact us here.
QI have a water leak. Can you analyze the water?
AYes, we can perform an analysis to estimate the source of the leaked water (for example, municipal tap water, rainwater, domestic wastewater, or sewage). A certain volume of sample is required for analysis, so please contact us here.

Test Reports
QCan test reports be used as official documents?
AYes. We are registered as a Building Drinking Water Quality Testing Business and a Measurement Certification Business, so our reports can be used as official documents. They may also be used for restaurant business permit applications and similar purposes.

Test Fees
QIs there a shipping fee?
AShipping is free of charge. Please note that deliveries to and returns from Hokkaido, Okinawa, and remote islands are subject to an additional shipping fee, which will be added to the invoiced amount. For details, please click here.
QWhat are the payment methods? When is payment due?
AWe accept credit card payments. For corporate customers, bank transfer to a designated account is also available. Please complete payment by the date the test report is issued.
QAre there any additional charges beyond the listed prices?
AWe kindly ask that customers bear the bank transfer fees, if applicable.
